VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) are air-borne chemical contaminants that can damage air quality, human health, productivity, and the environment. Common materials that can be of concern include foams, glues and paint. Hem seating products support a healthy indoor environment through responsible material choices and strict chemical emission testing. All of Hem’s seating collection* is certified to the SCS Indoor Advantage: Gold, compliant to M7.1/X7.1-2011 R2021 and ANSI/BIFMA e.3-2109.
